The nonprofit provides 24-hour assessment and admission, and accepts most major insurance including Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Humana, Highmark and Magellan.

Kemah Palms Recovery provides medically monitored withdrawal management along with residential, intensive outpatient and outpatient addiction treatment in Kemah, Texas. Arise Recovery Centers' McKinney site on TPC Drive provides outpatient addiction treatment for Collin County — an intensive outpatient program, a supportive outpatient program below it, partial hospitalization above, plus medication-assisted treatment and dual-diagnosis care. Treatment is delivered by master's-level counselors and grounded in 12-step recovery. Because Arise runs twelve locations across Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston and Austin, someone starting here can continue at another site rather than beginning again. Coverage is through private insurance or TRICARE, with self-pay and state funding also available.

Metrocare's Skillman Street clinic in north-east Dallas provides outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment for substance use alongside mental health care, including an opioid treatment program with outpatient withdrawal management — so someone starting methadone or buprenorphine can do it here. Metrocare is a fifty-year-old Dallas County organization and the largest provider of mental health services in North Texas, reaching more than 55,000 people a year, with pharmacies, housing support, veterans services and intellectual and developmental disability services around the clinical work. Its substance use programs are person-centered and trauma-informed. Accepted coverage includes Medicaid, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Magellan, Scott & White, TRICARE through Humana and UnitedHealthcare, along with Medicare, military insurance and state funding.

The Cincinnati VA Medical Center on Vine Street provides substance use disorder treatment for veterans at residential, intensive outpatient and outpatient levels, within the VA health system. Its residential facility works on more than the substance use itself: 24-hour care there addresses homelessness, mental health and unemployment alongside addiction, which is what distinguishes a VA domiciliary program from a standard rehab. The campus also provides mental health care, PTSD treatment, homeless veteran care, caregiver support and primary care, and works with Disabled American Veterans and county veterans affairs directors to arrange transport. Care runs through VA benefits — Medicaid and Medicare are not accepted here — with private and military insurance, public assistance and self-pay also recorded.

It provides intensive outpatient, supportive outpatient and standard outpatient treatment for adults — women, men and young adults — including medication-assisted treatment, and treats substance use alongside co-occurring mental health conditions. Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, state funding and self-pay are accepted.

Penny Lane Centers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that cares for more than 3,500 abused and neglected children, young people and families every month across Southern California. Its substance use treatment sits inside that child-welfare mission rather than beside it, and the organization runs an Alternative Response Crisis Response Team in partnership with the City of Los Angeles — an alternative to a police response when a family is in crisis.

Life Center of Hillsville accepts Virginia Medicaid and most commercial insurance, but does not currently accept Medicare.
