Center for Discovery

Center for Discovery Fairfield provides residential eating disorder treatment for women and non-binary adults aged 18 and over, and has done so since opening in 2015, taking clients from Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. Treatment follows the center's CARE-CFD model, which combines trauma-focused nutrition therapy, collaboration between the patient and the care team, attention to the whole body including the nervous system, and an explicitly weight-inclusive stance. Co-occurring conditions are treated alongside the eating disorder, and there is a dedicated pathway for veterans. The program is in-network with major insurers including Anthem BCBS, Aetna, Optum, Cigna and TRICARE East, and private and military insurance are accepted.
