How we make money
Plainly: ChooseHelp.com is supported by advertising — not by your phone calls, and not by referral fees. Here's exactly how that works.
Supported by advertising, not your calls
Treatment facilities can pay a flat feeto advertise an enhanced “Sponsored” listing in our directory. That fee is the same whether the listing gets one visitor or ten thousand — it is paid for the placement itself.
Never per-call, per-lead, or per-admission
We do notcharge facilities a fee for each call, lead, or admission. We don't profit from whether you contact any specific center or enroll in treatment. This matters: fees tied to admissions are how some referral services end up steering people toward whoever pays most. We don't do that.
Paid placement never buys a review or a ranking
Payment affects placement and presentation only. It never changes our reviews, our editorial content, or the ranking of the unpaid facilities that appear alongside paid ones. A facility cannot pay to alter its rating or to have a negative review removed.
Every paid listing is labeled
Sponsored and Premium listings are always clearly labeled, and we disclose the paid relationship on the listing itself. If you don't see a “Sponsored” label, the facility hasn't paid us for that placement.
Your privacy
We do not sell your personal information. For exactly what we collect and how it's used, see our Privacy Policy.
The helpline
Some pages still show a sponsored 24/7 helpline number. That helpline is a paid advertising service answered by third-party admission providers who pay to receive the calls — not ChooseHelp.com staff — and it is labeled as such wherever it appears. You are never obligated to use it; you can always browse the directory with no call routing.
