Young People's Foundation provides outpatient and intensive outpatient substance use treatment for youth ages 12–18 and young adults 18–21 in Whittier, California. Founded in 2012, YPF is certified by the California Department of Healthcare Services and offers individual counseling, group therapy, mentorship, and field-based services reaching youth in juvenile hall, foster care, shelters, and at home. Medi-Cal covers most services, and grant funding enables no-cost treatment. The program takes a trauma-informed approach delivered by licensed professionals and peer support specialists with lived experience.
