The CARE Center is the drug and alcohol treatment program of Southwestern Pennsylvania Human Services (SPHS), offering recovery-based, trauma-informed outpatient and intensive outpatient care in Washington, Greene, and Butler counties. Its Washington location at 75 East Maiden Street provides drug and alcohol outpatient treatment. The center accepts Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, military insurance, and state-financed programs.

Camelot of Staten Island runs a 45-bed intensive residential program for men with substance use disorders on the Sea View Hospital campus, opened in 2012. It is operated by Camelot Counseling, a 501(c)(3) non-profit licensed by the State of New York that has worked on Staten Island since 1971, when a group of local business people from the North Shore Kiwanis Club opened a storefront program for troubled young people. Camelot opened the island's first 25-bed substance use residential facility in 1992, and now also provides counseling for adults, adolescents, children and families, with adult outpatient services for men and women. Medicaid, private and military insurance, state funding, public assistance and self-pay are accepted, with a sliding scale.

Denton House is Life Help's residential chemical dependency program for men in Greenwood, Mississippi, run by the Region 6 community mental health organization that also operates an intensive outpatient program at the same address. It provides residential treatment and detoxification, including medication-assisted treatment. This program does not accept Medicaid or Medicare. Military insurance, self-pay and public assistance are accepted.

Affinity House is a residential program for women in Eau Claire, operated by Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan — a human-services organization whose work in the state traces back to 1882. It offers structured sober housing and recovery support for women, and accepts residents who are receiving medication for opioid use disorder. Medicaid, Medicare, military insurance and public assistance are accepted.

ChangePoint Integrated Health's Snowflake clinic on South Main Street combines outpatient behavioral health counseling and psychiatric services with primary medical care in the same building — integrated care in the literal sense, which in a small Arizona town removes a second journey. ChangePoint has served Navajo County since 1966 and also operates a 16-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital. It states that it will not refuse services because a person cannot pay, or because payment would come from Medicare, Medicaid or CHIP. Medicaid, Medicare, private and military insurance, state funding, public assistance and self-pay are accepted, with a sliding fee schedule.

United Counseling Service is Bennington County's non-profit community mental health agency, providing residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient treatment for substance use and mental health conditions in Bennington, Vermont. Its clinicians are trained in EMDR, and it partners with Kanthaka of North Bennington to offer equine-assisted therapy and learning. The agency's reach goes well beyond addiction treatment: emergency services that can arrange a hospital admission or short-term crisis bed, developmental services, a children's intensive outpatient program for pupils from kindergarten to sixth grade, and the county's Head Start program, running since 1965. Medicaid, Medicare, private and military insurance, state funding and public assistance are accepted.
