THRIVE Wellness and Recovery is a not-for-profit formed in 2024 by the merger of Credo Community Center for the Treatment of Addictions — which had been treating addiction in northern New York for fifty years — and Transitional Living Services of Northern New York, which provided residential psychiatric rehabilitation. Its Lowville site runs an intensive outpatient program for substance use alongside mental health services, part of an organization that treats children, adolescents, adults, families and caregivers. THRIVE is certified by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports and by the Office of Mental Health, and its opioid treatment program is accredited by CARF. Payment can be made through Medicaid, Medicare, private or military insurance, or state funding.

Services include adult and teen residential rehabs, and transitional living environments, as well as detox. All services are billed on a sliding scale basis.

Recovery House provides residential substance use treatment for adults on Washington Street in Rutland, Vermont. The non-profit's stated mission is a residential treatment setting oriented around the recognition of addiction as a treatable, chronic disease, with structured group and individual programming and recovery planning. Recovery House also operates a residential program in nearby Wallingford.

Guiding Light is a faith-based, nonprofit addiction recovery program in Grand Rapids, Michigan, serving men and women since 1929 with residential recovery, sober living, and job-placement support. Separate men's and women's recovery programs focus on community, structure, and peer support to help participants return to work and stable housing. All services are provided free of charge.

ACI offers a range of inpatient rehab services including medically supervised withdrawal opioid, and 3 to 10 days inpatient treatment. This treatment provider is listed as a SAMHSA-Certified Opioid Treatment Program. The facility accepts clients on opioid medication. Self payment, Medicaid, private health insurance.

Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program runs a six-bed, gender-inclusive residential mental health home on Mine Hill Road in Fairfield, Connecticut, for adolescents aged 11 to 17. It treats anxiety, depression and trauma using cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, and its small size means a household rather than a ward. Where a young person needs more than residential care can give, Discovery's Stamford home provides higher levels of care within the same organization. It is part of the Discovery Behavioral Health network, which describes its approach as measurement-based. Private and military insurance are accepted.
