Care here spans inpatient psychiatric treatment and outpatient behavioral health, including an intensive outpatient program and withdrawal management, with services delivered in Spanish and free language assistance available to any patient. Because it sits inside a hospital system, a patient whose substance use runs alongside a medical condition can be treated for both in one place. Both Medicaid and Medicare are taken, along with private and military insurance and state funding.

Casa Di Vita is a residential reintegration program for women age 18 and older on Buffalo's West Side, operated by Cazenovia Recovery Systems. Certified by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports, it serves 19 women with trauma-informed care, individual and group counseling, and support toward work, volunteer and education goals. Stays vary with each resident's needs, from a couple of weeks to a couple of months or more.

Soberman's Estate is a residential treatment center for adult men on a private five-acre estate in the Sonoran Desert at Cave Creek, Arizona, with a maximum of ten beds. It is designed for men aged roughly 30 to 80 — licensed professionals and public figures among them — seeking discreet, individualized treatment for alcohol and substance use alongside co-occurring conditions, and it combines clinical and medical care with holistic and spiritual work on a campus that includes equine facilities, a greenhouse, a labyrinth, a medicine wheel and a Zen garden. It is state-licensed and nationally accredited. The program takes private and military insurance, and clients can also pay privately. The program does not accept Medicaid or Medicare, and does not take Arizona's AHCCCS plan.

Founded in 1963, Lifetime Recovery is a non-profit residential program on Southton Road in San Antonio which says it is the largest non-profit residential substance use treatment facility in Bexar and surrounding counties. The residential track runs 45 to 90 days on a recently renovated campus, with Spanish-language counseling offered to remove language barriers, veteran services for people who are not eligible for VA benefits, and alumni who return to lead AA and NA meetings for current clients. Medicaid and private pay are accepted, Aetna and Cigna plans are listed, and the organization says financial assistance is available for people who could not otherwise afford treatment.
