Its protocols use intravenous as well as oral medication to manage withdrawal, with 24/7 monitoring, and include specialized routes that most detox units do not offer: a high-dose methadone protocol used with patients on up to 350 mg, an accelerated micro-induction protocol for fentanyl and other opioids, and a benzodiazepine taper that continues as aftercare once inpatient detox is complete. Detox here is a first step rather than a full course of treatment, and the center refers on. Private and military insurance are accepted, and a free self-assessment starts the admissions process.

Carrus Behavioral Health is the children's and adolescent service of Carrus Health, which has operated across Texas and Oklahoma since 2008. Its partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs run for ages 8 to 17, with an inpatient hospital for children from age 5, so a young person's care can move between levels inside one organization.
