About Youth & Family Services of North Central Oklahoma

Youth & Family Services of North Central Oklahoma was founded in 1974 to provide emergency shelter and services for children affected by abuse, neglect and delinquent behaviour, at a time when the Garfield County jail was the only temporary shelter available to them. From its West Oxford Street base in Enid it now runs an emergency youth shelter, outpatient counseling, intensive outpatient services, diversion court programs and a partnership with Enid Public Schools. Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, military insurance and state funding are accepted, a sliding fee scale is offered based on family size and income, and eligible clients are not denied services for inability to pay.
