Gateway Community Services is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) that has treated addiction in Jacksonville since 1978, offering medically monitored withdrawal management alongside residential, intensive outpatient and outpatient care and sober living. It works with adults and adolescents across Northeast Florida, including people with co-occurring mental health conditions, and states plainly that it welcomes everyone seeking treatment — including those who are uninsured or underinsured. Advanced Therapeutic Services runs outpatient addiction and behavioral health treatment from two Southern California sites, in Barstow and Rancho Mirage. Its clinical lineage is unusual for an outpatient program: co-founder Jim Herndon co-authored an abstract in the ASAM Journal of Addictive Diseases in 2005 finding that buprenorphine detoxification improved patient retention, and that protocol went on to be recognized nationally as a model for opiate detox. Josie Ramirez-Herndon, the founder and chief executive, has worked in behavioral health and addiction services since 1987. The program is a Blue Distinction Center by Anthem Blue Cross and holds CARF accreditation.

San Bernardino County Behavioral Health runs this Apple Valley clinic as part of the county's public behavioral health system, providing outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment for substance use and mental health conditions. Services cover adult substance use disorder treatment, crisis response and community-based mental health care for residents of the High Desert. The clinic accepts Medi-Cal — California's Medicaid program — and Medicare, with state funding and military coverage also accepted.

The organization says admissions to its women's residential program are paused while it consolidates into a single new treatment facility, and it continues withdrawal management, recovery housing, rural outreach, virtual groups and family support alongside case management and individual therapy. The authority states plainly that no one will be denied access to services because of an inability to pay and that a discounted sliding fee schedule based on family size and income is available; Medicaid and Medicare are both accepted, along with private and military insurance and payment assistance. It is accredited by CARF, is a member of the Southwest Michigan Behavioral Health regional entity, runs a 24-hour crisis line, and offers language assistance including Spanish, Braille and audio formats.

South Central Rehabilitation Center provides residential and outpatient substance use treatment in New Haven, operated by Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center — a federally qualified community health center established in 1968 by the Hill Parents Association together with Yale School of Medicine. Opioid treatment is offered with methadone and buprenorphine alongside counseling, for adults including those with co-occurring mental health conditions. The health center says it accepts all insurance, naming Medicare, Medicaid (Title 19), HUSKY and Charter Oak, and its Recovery and Wellness Center holds ASAM Level I accreditation.
