The operator's stated position is that detox is not merely a hurdle to clear but an intervention period in its own right, and the program is built around that: a calm setting, optional 12-step meetings during the stay, and coordinated care to arrange what comes after, so a client leaves with a next step already booked. Its medication-assisted treatment covers all FDA-approved medications except methadone, which is worth knowing before applying if methadone is what you are stabilized on. Michigan Medicaid is accepted from specific counties and regions, with navigators who help clients apply; people who do not qualify can self-pay or be assessed for income-based payment. Medicare, private and military insurance and state funding are also accepted.

The Adolescent Substance Abuse Program has run outpatient counseling for young people aged 12 to 18 involved with drugs and alcohol since 1991 — a single, narrow population it has not diversified away from in three decades. Its clinical lead has practiced as a licensed psychologist since 1987 and completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at the Boston VA Outpatient Clinic, specializing in substance use, adolescents and developmental disorders. Staff also work with Scottsdale's Juvenile Diversion and Veterans Court programs, so a court-referred family is not arriving somewhere unfamiliar with the process.

Region IV Mental Health Services is a community mental health center that has served north Mississippi since 1972 and opened in DeSoto County in 2010; this is its Hernando office on Highway 51. It provides outpatient and intensive outpatient substance use treatment, medication-assisted treatment using FDA-approved medications alongside counseling, and DUI programs, with telehealth available. Region IV states that no one is excluded from services because of inability to pay or because of who pays — including Medicare, Medicaid or CHIP — and it offers sliding-fee discounts. Rosecrance Greendale House in Rockford is a transitional living home and long-term recovery program for adults and mothers with their children, located in a 10-unit apartment complex. Greendale House is located near the Rosecrance Harrison Campus, which gives residents easy access to services offered through the adult treatment program there. The facility accepts clients on opioid medication.

Addiction Recovery Centers of the Black Hills (ARCBH) provides intensive outpatient treatment for adults in Hot Springs and Rapid City, South Dakota. IOP groups meet weekday evenings with telehealth sessions available, and the program includes continued-care counseling, DUI classes, gambling assessments and EMDR. ARCBH accepts Medicare, military coverage and offers a sliding fee scale.
