Certified by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports, it serves 19 women with trauma-informed care, individual and group counseling, and support toward work, volunteer and education goals. Stays vary with each resident's needs, from a couple of weeks to a couple of months or more.

South Central Rehabilitation Center provides residential and outpatient substance use treatment in New Haven, operated by Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center — a federally qualified community health center established in 1968 by the Hill Parents Association together with Yale School of Medicine. Opioid treatment is offered with methadone and buprenorphine alongside counseling, for adults including those with co-occurring mental health conditions. The health center says it accepts all insurance, naming Medicare, Medicaid (Title 19), HUSKY and Charter Oak, and its Recovery and Wellness Center holds ASAM Level I accreditation.
