Visions of the Cross provides residential substance use treatment in Redding, alongside intensive outpatient and outpatient programs and transitional living recovery residences. The program offers a family-like inpatient setting plus behavioral health services, and accepts Medi-Cal (California Medicaid), Partnership Health Plan of California, Carelon and other insurance, with a sliding fee scale available.

Casa Cecilia is a six-bed residential recovery home for women in Thermal, run by the Riverside County Latino Commission, whose facilities are the only Spanish-speaking substance use facilities in Riverside County. The 60-day inpatient program covers individual and group counseling, relapse prevention and aftercare, and is licensed and certified by the California Department of Health Care Services. It is funded through Riverside County Medi-Cal — California's Medicaid program — with private and military insurance, public assistance and a sliding scale for self-pay also accepted.

Affinity House is a residential program for women in Eau Claire, operated by Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan — a human-services organization whose work in the state traces back to 1882. It offers structured sober housing and recovery support for women, and accepts residents who are receiving medication for opioid use disorder. Medicaid, Medicare, military insurance and public assistance are accepted.

Mingus Mountain Youth Treatment Center is a non-profit residential behavioral health inpatient facility for adolescent girls aged 12 to 17, set in the Prescott National Forest area of Arizona. It treats substance use and co-occurring mood and trauma-related disorders, working with young people who have often experienced significant and complex trauma in early childhood, and it has completed a three-year certification in the Sanctuary Model — a whole-organization trauma-responsive approach built on shared values and practice rather than a single therapy. Education is delivered on site, and an equine therapy program helps residents work on relationships and boundaries. Founded nearly three decades ago, the organization operates five locations with a staff of about 60 and has served more than 20,000 clients, with admissions requiring a nursing assessment, a TB and syphilis test, and a 30-day medication supply for co-occurring disorders.

Crossroads Extension Campus for Women is the nonprofit Crossroads, Inc. organization's residential campus for women in Mesa, Arizona, run within the same 45-day residential structure used across its facilities — individual and group counseling, structured psychoeducational programming, and access to both 12-step and SMART Recovery meetings. The program is in network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana and United Healthcare, and accepts AHCCCS.

DISC Village is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) behavioral health provider that has worked in north Florida since 1971, when it was founded in partnership with Florida State University to run drug information services in Tallahassee. A year later it opened one of the state's first residential therapeutic communities for adolescents with substance use problems. Today its Serenity Way site provides residential treatment alongside youth services, criminal justice programs, family services and medication-assisted treatment, serving Leon, Gadsden and Wakulla counties. It is licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families and accredited by CARF. Fees are assessed on a sliding scale based on household income, DISC Village is an in-network Medicaid provider, and Medicare and private insurance are also accepted.
