ADACCV is a private 501(c)(3) non-profit whose work in San Angelo goes back to a council founded in 1960 and a detoxification center opened in 1978; along the way it absorbed the Women and Children's Halfway House, reopened in 1997 and renamed Sara's House in 2001, which is why family-inclusive residential care is part of what it offers rather than an add-on.
