Recovery Network of Programs (RNP) is a non-profit social service agency that has served Greater Bridgeport for fifty years, providing inpatient and outpatient substance use treatment to people dealing with substance use, homelessness and mental health problems together rather than separately — which is the point of the agency, since those three rarely arrive alone. Care is described as culturally responsive and respectful of a diverse community, and RNP depends partly on community donations to deliver it. The program takes Medicare and private insurance, and state funding is available.

Center for Discovery's Wellington campus in Fairfield, Connecticut provides residential eating disorder treatment, one of several Center for Discovery sites in the state alongside Southport, Greenwich and Congress Street in Fairfield. Community Mental Health Affiliates (CMHA) is a private non-profit behavioral health provider headquartered in New Britain, Connecticut, with eight locations across central Connecticut and in Waterbury. It was the state's first fully Joint Commission accredited Behavioral Health Home and is a SAMHSA-certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic. Its residential continuum includes a 12-bed supervised program staffed by an Intensive Assertive Community Treatment team; the 16-bed Parkview 5, which CMHA describes as one of only two programs at that level of care in the state, with an average stay of about 18 months and usually a waiting list; and a 19-bed Transitional Living Center that steps clients down from Parkview 5 with nursing cover and two respite beds. The Chemical Abuse Services Agency (CASA) is a private non-profit community behavioral health organization that has worked in Bridgeport since 1987 and now also serves New Haven. Its supportive residential recovery runs as 90-day transitional programs for men aged 18 and over — two houses, one of ten beds and one of fourteen, both with 24-hour support — alongside withdrawal management, intensive outpatient and outpatient care, with longer stays sometimes available through the PILOTS program. CASA describes its care as culturally responsive, shaped around the Latino, African-American and LGBTQ+ communities it serves, and aimed at the trauma, shame and isolation underneath the substance use. Medicaid coverage is accepted, some cases individually evaluated, along with Medicare, private and military insurance, state funding, public assistance and self-pay.

Trinity Glen is MCCA's men's residential substance use treatment program on West Cornwall Road in Sharon, Connecticut, part of MCCA's network of addiction treatment services across western Connecticut.

McCall Behavioral Health Network provides residential substance use treatment at its Waterbury, Connecticut campus, serving adults for more than 50 years.
