Operated by Erie County Medical Center Corporation, a public benefit corporation, ECMC provides comprehensive behavioral health services including inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, and houses the BRAVE Trauma Recovery Center for survivors of violence and trauma. ECMC accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and most private health insurance plans, and offers financial assistance for uninsured patients.

Partners Behavioral Healthcare's Mankato site at 802 South Front Street is one of five Minnesota locations alongside Waite Park, Rochester and men's and women's campuses in St. Paul, and it is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. The provider is licensed under Minnesota rules 245G and 245I and runs outpatient and intensive outpatient programs at defined intensities - a full-day IOP at ASAM level 2.5 of up to 25 hours a week and a level 2.1 program of up to 12 hours - with mental health services available either integrated with addiction treatment or as stand-alone therapy. Justice-system referrals are explicitly welcomed, and Medicare, private insurance, military insurance and self-payment are accepted.
