Austen Riggs Center is a nonprofit, open and voluntary residential psychiatric treatment program in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, for adults with complex psychiatric difficulties that have persisted despite prior treatment. Treatment begins with a six-week evaluation and treatment program combining intensive psychodynamic psychotherapy, therapeutic community life, family work, and psychological testing, with patients meeting four times a week with the same clinician. Austen Riggs accepts private insurance.

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) is a statewide Massachusetts nonprofit providing integrated mental health and substance use treatment, with residential care at its Greenfield location in Franklin County. The program serves adults facing mental health, substance use, and co-occurring developmental challenges through counseling, medication management, and community-based support. BHN accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance.

CHD (Center for Human Development) provides behavioral health and substance use treatment from Chicopee, serving western Massachusetts and Connecticut with residential and outpatient programs and expanded telehealth. Its residential services include the Two Rivers Recovery Center for Women in Greenfield and the Iris Home, an intensive residential rehabilitation home for men. CHD describes itself as multicultural, multilingual and fluent in sign language, and holds a three-year CARF accreditation, renewed in 2024, covering behavioral health, child and youth services, and employment and community services. Blue Hills Recovery at 474 Grove Street in Worcester is accredited by The Joint Commission and licensed by the Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Addiction Services, and runs parallel day-treatment and evening programs for substance use and for mental health so people can attend around work or family commitments. Its program list includes a dedicated LGBTQ+ mental health track for the Worcester area and integrated treatment for co-occurring substance use and mental health conditions. The center states it is in-network with UnitedHealthcare and Cigna and also works with Optum; private insurance and self-payment are accepted, and it serves Worcester along with Auburn, Boston, Grafton, Holden, Lowell, Shrewsbury, Spencer, Springfield and Westborough.

South Shore Mental Health Center in Quincy is a provider of outpatient mental health services.

Dimock Community Health Center in Roxbury is a provider of mental health care services.

Bay State Community Services is a community mental health center in Norfolk.

Gándara Mental Health Center in Springfield is a provider of outpatient mental health services. Their mission is to promote the well-being of Hispanics, African-Americans and other culturally diverse populations, through innovative, culturally competent behavioral health, prevention and educational services.

South Shore Mental Health Center in Quincy is a provider of outpatient mental health services.

NuLife Behavioral Health's Worcester program offers three levels of outpatient care: a partial hospitalisation program with about five hours of therapy, groups, skill-building and medication management per day, an intensive outpatient program for people who need more than weekly therapy or who are stepping down from PHP, and a general outpatient program of weekly individual or group therapy. The provider also offers psychiatric medication management, TMS therapy and dual-diagnosis treatment, and describes a single phone call leading to a same-day or next-day assessment, insurance verification and placement. Medicaid and Medicare are accepted, and the carrier list includes Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Cigna, Humana, Magellan, Meritain, Optum and TRICARE.

Avanzando Enhanced Residential Rehabilitation is a Gándara Center program in Ludlow, Massachusetts, treating women 18 and older with co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders. The 20-person program provides mental health and substance use treatment from a single team, including onsite medication-assisted treatment, plus postpartum care during and after pregnancy. It accepts Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, state funding and military coverage.

Hector Reyes House is a residential substance use treatment program for 25 Latino men in Worcester, Massachusetts, run by the Latin American Health Alliance to address the health inequities the alliance says Latinx residents of greater Worcester face. The house combines in-house medical treatment with intensive cognitive behavioral therapy in phases: an opening stage focused on establishing a daily routine and beginning intensive treatment, then a transitional phase in the second and third months when residents leave the house for outside activities and work on a balanced lifestyle as a bridge to living independently. Medicaid and Medicare are both recorded as accepted here, alongside private insurance and state-financed coverage.

Gándara Mental Health Center in Brockton is a mental health center and outpatient rehab offering an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for men and women. The facility accepts clients on opioid medication. Payment assitance is available.
