Children's Home Society of South Dakota traces its work to 1893, when it was founded as the state's first nonprofit social service agency, and its Black Hills Children's Home campus on South Rockerville Road outside Rapid City provides psychiatric residential treatment for children alongside outpatient mental health services including psychiatry and individual, family and group therapy. Each residential campus includes a school certified by the South Dakota Department of Education. The agency is accredited by the Council on Accreditation and licensed by the South Dakota Department of Social Services, and its care is trauma-focused.

The Children's Home of York SOAR Program provides residential treatment for children and adolescents with behavioral health challenges in York, Pennsylvania. The program serves youth through trauma-informed care, individual and family therapy, and an on-site accredited school. Serving families for over a century, The Bradley Center provides psychiatric residential treatment for children and adolescents affected by trauma, mental illness, and behavioral health challenges. Located west of Pittsburgh, the center combines a residential treatment facility with The Bradley School, a licensed private academic school where students receive individualized education in classes of no more than 12. Bradley also offers school-based therapy in approximately 50 school districts and outpatient therapy for children, teens, and adults.

Evolve Cole Ranch in Encinitas, California, is a residential treatment program for adolescents ages 12–17 with mental health conditions, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. Founded in 2014, Evolve offers industry-leading programming including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and a neuroaffirming track for autistic teens. The center does not accept Medi-Cal or Medicaid and provides free insurance verification.
