Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program runs a six-bed, gender-inclusive residential mental health home on Mine Hill Road in Fairfield, Connecticut, for adolescents aged 11 to 17. Where a young person needs more than residential care can give, Discovery's Stamford home provides higher levels of care within the same organization. South Central Rehabilitation Center provides residential and outpatient substance use treatment in New Haven, operated by Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center — a federally qualified community health center established in 1968 by the Hill Parents Association together with Yale School of Medicine. Opioid treatment is offered with methadone and buprenorphine alongside counseling, for adults including those with co-occurring mental health conditions. The health center says it accepts all insurance, naming Medicare, Medicaid (Title 19), HUSKY and Charter Oak, and its Recovery and Wellness Center holds ASAM Level I accreditation.

The Chemical Abuse Services Agency (CASA) is a private non-profit community behavioral health organization that has worked in Bridgeport since 1987 and now also serves New Haven. Its supportive residential recovery runs as 90-day transitional programs for men aged 18 and over — two houses, one of ten beds and one of fourteen, both with 24-hour support — alongside withdrawal management, intensive outpatient and outpatient care, with longer stays sometimes available through the PILOTS program. Connecticut Counseling Centers is a not-for-profit providing licensed outpatient substance use and mental health treatment for adults, and this is its Norwalk site. Medication-assisted treatment here covers all three FDA-approved medications for opioid use disorder — methadone, buprenorphine and naltrexone — delivered with medical, nursing, psychiatric and counseling support, and the organization has been expanding methadone access through a new opioid treatment program. Intensive outpatient programs run for substance use, mental health and co-occurring conditions, with gender-specific groups available, and bilingual staff serve Spanish-speaking clients. The organization is CARF-accredited, licensed by the Connecticut Department of Public Health and funded in part by the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
