Terms of Service for Authors

By submitting an article, Q&A answer, or any other content to ChooseHelp.com, you agree to the following terms:
- Ownership.You declare that you are the sole owner and author of your submission (“User-Authored Content”) and own 100% of all copyrights pertaining to it.
- Publication licence. Your submission gives ChooseHelp.com unconditional permission to publish your User-Authored Content on the website. If featured, it may be distributed via additional channels including RSS feeds, social media, and email newsletters.
- Syndication. Your submission also gives ChooseHelp.com unconditional permission for your User-Authored Content to be reprinted on other websites and in print publications. We ask publishers to follow our reprint rules, but you acknowledge that enforcement of those rules against third parties is at your risk and cost, not ours. If someone violates your copyright, it is your responsibility to take legal action.
- Publication decisions.It is ChooseHelp.com's sole decision whether your User-Authored Content is published and for how long. There are no guarantees of publication. We reserve the right to remove your content at any time for any reason.
- Re-classification. The ChooseHelp.com editorial team reserves the right to re-classify your submission into a topic category that may be more suitable than the one originally submitted.
- No payment. You acknowledge that ChooseHelp.com does not pay for submissions to the website and does not require publishers to pay you for their use of your User-Authored Content under the syndication terms above.
- Advertising. ChooseHelp.com is advertiser supported. We reserve the right to publish ads on the same pages as your User-Authored Content.
- Editorial editing.If your submission does not conform to ChooseHelp.com's editorial guidelines, our editors may edit it so that it does conform. Please review our editorial guidelines before submitting to speed the approval process.
- Licence grant. You grant ChooseHelp.com a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, distribute, and display your content.
- Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for ensuring your submissions do not violate third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any applicable law.
General
ChooseHelp.com reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service for Authors at any time without prior notice. Continued submission of content constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms form part of the ChooseHelp Terms of Service and are incorporated by reference. In case of conflict, the main Terms of Service and applicable law prevail.
