The Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse of Northwest Louisiana has served the Shreveport-Bossier community since 1958 and runs intensive outpatient, individual outpatient, education and assessment services from its Fairfield Avenue site in Shreveport. Admissions are accepted seven days a week, a confidential screening line runs 24 hours a day, and services are available for pregnant women and women with dependent children. CADA has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities since 2013, accepts commercial insurance and Medicaid, helps people apply for Medicaid, and can direct those who are ineligible to state-funded assistance.
