More about Confidential Help for Alcoholism and Drugs (C.H.A.D.)
C.H.A.D.'s outpatient programmes are voluntary and are delivered at different levels of intensity depending on assessment. The adult intensive outpatient programme is built for people who need structured treatment without residential care, including those stepping down from an inpatient stay with an aftercare referral, and is scheduled so participants can keep living at home and stay in work. Group work includes a recurrence-prevention track, family education and support for relatives, peer support, and an introduction to AA/NA self-help groups.
