Region IV Mental Health Services – Hernando

Region IV Mental Health Services is a community mental health center that has served north Mississippi since 1972 and opened in DeSoto County in 2010; this is its Hernando office on Highway 51. It provides outpatient and intensive outpatient substance use treatment, medication-assisted treatment using FDA-approved medications alongside counseling, and DUI programs, with telehealth available. Region IV states that no one is excluded from services because of inability to pay or because of who pays — including Medicare, Medicaid or CHIP — and it offers sliding-fee discounts. Medicaid, Medicare, private and military insurance, state funding and self-pay are all accepted.
