NorthStar Regional treats substance use and mental health conditions in the same place and by the same team at its Walnut Street site in Chaska, Minnesota, with a high-intensity residential co-occurring program running up to six weeks and medically managed withdrawal at ASAM level 3.7, staffed around the clock. Step-downs include co-occurring intensive outpatient care with lodging — a live-in option at both Chaska and Otsego, offered separately for men and for women — IOP groups three to five sessions a week, outpatient therapy in person or by telehealth for adults, teens and children, and men's and women's sober housing for clients further along. Medicare and private insurance are accepted, as is state funding.
