Monarch

Monarch is the outpatient addiction program of The Neighborhood Center in Utica, providing intensive outpatient treatment with medication-assisted treatment prescribed by licensed providers. The Neighborhood Center is one of Utica's oldest human-service organizations: it began in 1905 as a settlement house helping immigrants file citizenship papers, opened the city's first kindergarten by 1936, and took its present name in 1945 — so a client coming here for addiction treatment sits inside an agency that also runs childcare and family services. Medicare is accepted here, as are private and military insurance and state funding.
