Barry County Community Mental Health Authority

Barry County Community Mental Health Authority, known locally as Barry County Recovery, is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic at 500 Barfield Drive in Hastings, providing adult services, children's services and substance use disorder treatment including outpatient and intensive outpatient care. The authority states plainly that no one will be denied access to services because of an inability to pay and that a discounted sliding fee schedule based on family size and income is available; Medicaid and Medicare are both accepted, along with private and military insurance and payment assistance. It is accredited by CARF, is a member of the Southwest Michigan Behavioral Health regional entity, runs a 24-hour crisis line, and offers language assistance including Spanish, Braille and audio formats.
