Austen Riggs Center

Austen Riggs Center is a nonprofit, open and voluntary residential psychiatric treatment program in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, for adults with complex psychiatric difficulties that have persisted despite prior treatment. Treatment begins with a six-week evaluation and treatment program combining intensive psychodynamic psychotherapy, therapeutic community life, family work, and psychological testing, with patients meeting four times a week with the same clinician. Austen Riggs accepts private insurance.
