Medical staff are on site 24 hours and work to SAMHSA evidence-based protocols, and the program is accredited by The Joint Commission. Its medication-assisted treatment covers all FDA-approved medications except methadone, which is worth knowing before applying if methadone is what you are stabilized on. Michigan Medicaid is accepted from specific counties and regions, with navigators who help clients apply; people who do not qualify can self-pay or be assessed for income-based payment. Medicare, private and military insurance and state funding are also accepted.

Great Lakes Recovery Centers (GLRC) is a nonprofit, non-denominational 501(c)(3) substance use disorder treatment provider serving Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Its Marquette location at 241 Wright Street offers residential treatment, outpatient services, medication-assisted treatment and medical services, with dedicated programs for veterans and children/adolescents. GLRC welcomes self-referrals and provides services regardless of ability to pay.
