The Ranch Program is the residential core: adults live and work on the property in the Green Mountains, with work crews in forestry, agriculture and the workshop forming the structure of the day. The Elliot Program and the Rutland Program provide the steps that follow, moving residents toward independent living with a transitional home in town rather than discharging them straight out of a rural community. Staff longevity is notable — several of the clinical and crew leads have been at the Ranch for a decade or more, and one member of the leadership team came to it through her own recovery.
