MERIT Resource Services

MERIT Resource Services is a non-profit governed by a volunteer board that has provided outpatient addiction treatment across central Washington for more than forty years. It was founded in 1979 as the first outpatient alcohol and other drug treatment provider in the lower Yakima valley, took its present name in 1992, merged with Alcohol Drug Dependency Services in Ellensburg in 2015, and opened this Pasco office in 2020. Its CARF-accredited programs cover assessment, intensive outpatient and outpatient treatment, relapse prevention, family groups and aftercare, for adults, teenagers and children, in English and Spanish. Coverage includes Medicare, private and military insurance, and state funding.
