BriteLife Recovery at Lexington

BriteLife Recovery at Lexington is the New York campus of BriteLife Recovery, run by Windham Falls Recovery LLC at 2774 NY-42 in West Kill, in the Catskill Mountains of Greene County. New York State's Department of Health lists the entity as "Windham Falls Recovery LLC dba BriteLife Recovery at Lexington", and the older Windham Falls name is no longer used publicly.

The program runs medically supervised detoxification lasting roughly five to seven days, followed by residential treatment averaging 28 days with gender-specific care, and inpatient treatment for co-occurring anxiety and depression. Clinical work draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, motivational interviewing, polyvagal- and somatic-informed practice, attachment theory, shame resilience work and grief work. An alumni program continues after discharge.

Detox and residential services occupy separate buildings on wooded grounds with hiking trails, group therapy rooms, an auditorium, common areas and a fire pit, and an executive chef prepares the meals. BriteLife states the site is certified by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports and accredited by the Joint Commission. Insurers named on its site include Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Anthem, Optum, CDPHP and MVP. BriteLife also operates locations in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and South Carolina.
