UPMC Chautauqua's Behavioral Health Wellness Center on Glasgow Avenue in Jamestown is part of UPMC Chautauqua, a 277-bed non-profit community hospital in southwestern New York within the UPMC health system. Its behavioral health service covers mental health care and addiction medicine across all three settings — inpatient, outpatient and residential — including inpatient and outpatient chemical dependency programs, so someone whose needs change does not have to move organizations to follow them. Being part of a general hospital also means psychiatric and addiction care sits alongside the medical specialties rather than apart from them.
