Door to Hope is a non-profit residential substance use treatment program for women in Salinas, California, with withdrawal management on site. It works with adult and young adult women, including those with co-occurring mental health conditions. Medicaid and Medicare are accepted, alongside private and military insurance and self-pay.

Present Moments Recovery is a CARF-accredited, DHCS-licensed provider whose detox and residential programs run at its San Marcos location, with PHP, IOP and medication-assisted treatment continuing at a Carlsbad clinic under what it describes as one connected clinical team. The provider reports more than ten years in practice, treats opioid and fentanyl use alongside co-occurring conditions, and uses naltrexone or Vivitrol where clinically appropriate. Private insurance is accepted, including Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem, TRICARE and TriWest; the center states on its own site that it does not accept Medicare or Medi-Cal.

The Riverside Latino Commission on Drugs & Alcohol operates this residential substance use location in Indio, California, part of its network across the Coachella Valley. The organization also runs Bea’s Detox Home for men, mental health services, and outpatient substance use counseling for teens at its Coachella site.

Hemet Valley Recovery Center & Sage Retreat is a hospital-based addiction treatment facility in Hemet, CA, providing a full continuum of care from medical detox through residential and outpatient treatment to sober living. Accredited by CARF and The Joint Commission, it offers specialized tracks for older adults, young adults, veterans, first responders, military families, and people with chronic pain or co-occurring conditions. The center accepts Medicare, TRICARE, and private insurance.

At the Sacramento Treatment Associates outpatient drug rehab center, individuals struggling with addictions to heroin, prescription drugs and other substances receive individualized care from a team of caring professionals.

HealthRIGHT 360's Pomona location provides residential substance use disorder treatment as part of one of California's largest nonprofit healthcare networks. With roots tracing to the Haight Ashbury Medical Clinics (1967) and Walden House (1969), the organization now operates over 50 programs across 10 California counties, serving more than 45,000 people annually. Services span primary medical care, mental health, dental care, and substance use treatment, with specialized programs for women, children, the LGBTQ+ community, and justice-involved populations. The organization received $16.4 million in Proposition 1 funding to build a new behavioral health facility at the Pomona Family Campus. HealthRIGHT 360 serves all community members regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.

Bella Nirvana Center provides medically monitored detox, residential treatment, intensive outpatient care and sober living in Folsom, in the Sacramento area. Detox is run as distinct alcohol, opioid and cocaine programs, staffed around the clock by detox nurses and health technicians alongside CADC counselors, with a doctor and psychiatrist for clients with a dual diagnosis. An outpatient medication-assisted treatment program follows, aimed at preventing relapse. The center is licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services (license 340007AP), and veterans can be covered through their VA community care benefits. The program takes private and military insurance, and clients can also pay privately.
