Washington County Treatment Centers

The Galilee Mission has provided recovery services in southern Rhode Island since 1984 and is a non-profit serving Washington County and the surrounding area. It runs two residential houses at different levels of care: Brett's Place in Wakefield is a 14-bed high-intensity residential facility at ASAM level 3.5, focused on post-crisis care for people who have just come through a detox or a crisis; Galilee House, in the seaside town of Narragansett, is a 16-bed ASAM 3.1 house for people who need residential structure at lower clinical intensity. Outpatient and intensive outpatient services and mental health counseling run alongside them, so the step down happens inside the same organization. The program takes Medicare alongside private and military insurance and state funding.

AdCare Rhode Island is a drug and alcohol rehab for adults which accepts clients on opioid medication. We are based in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. Our focus is on the treatment of co-occuring disorders treatment and we further specialize in the provision of an intensive outpatient program (IOP) and medical detoxification.

Zinnia Health Exeter is located in a quiet, relaxing setting in southern Rhode Island, and offers inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment for adults. We have a passion for helping individuals and their families conquer their substance use and secondary mental health disorders. Most insurance plans are accepted, including commercial and Rhode Island Medicaid policies. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is available to those who need it.
