The Narconon Colorado Reviews

Review this Center
3 months, 1 week ago

I was told there would be cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) only to find out this was just Scientology “objective exercises.” I really tried to get something out of them at first but the first objective instructions are literally “flap your hands, who’s doing it?” “I am” “thank you flap your hands who’s doing it?” This was supposed to teach me that I was in charge of my body, but it was one of the most asinine things I’ve done outside of their training drill that had me tell myself I was a wildflower and yell at an ashtray to stand up.

The “family counseling” was just someone calling my family once a week to give them an update on my progress, while I wasn’t even in the room. It wasn’t actually counseling.

I was told it wasn’t Scientology but after completing my program I did more research and it became very obvious it was all watered down Scientology. They don’t push Lord Xenu on anyone but the sauna, objectives, and “life skills courses” are all things done at the church of Scientology.

The program did at least help me get some sober time but other than that I wouldn’t say it’s worth the cost. I ended up feeling I was sold a bill of goods that quickly left me feeling disillusioned and taken advantage of.
