Sunspire Health Astoria Pointe is a treatment facility for adult men and women affected by addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders located in the small, historic city of Astoria, Oregon. Our facility provides evidence-based interventions with experiential therapies that address the underlying causes of addiction to ensure that patients heal mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Sunspire Health's Astoria Pointe facility is located in quaint, historic Astoria, Oregon, in the coastal Pacific Northwest. The serenity and beauty of Astoria Pointe is ideal for healing body, mind, and spirit. Our facility is set atop a hill with views of the Columbia River and Astoria Bridge, providing an ideal environment for healing and escaping the chaos of addiction. With 40 beds available in the homelike, rancher-style building and nursing staff on-site 24 hours a day, the facility offers accommodations that give peace of mind to men and women seeking a life of sobriety. Patients have access to reading materials in the group room and an offsite gym, in addition to beach and hiking trail access from the facility for participating in adventure therapy.

In addition to its residential/inpatient program, Astoria Pointe offers onsite medical detox (when necessary), Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and an Outpatient program with Community Housing at a separate Astoria Pointe building. Each patient receives individualized treatment based on his specific needs for recovery. Our highly trained team of physicians, nurses, therapists and residential staff are addiction specialists who will get to know each patient in order to develop an individualized recovery plan. Patients have many different varieties of therapy available during treatment, including individual therapy, family therapy, CBT, trauma process groups, motivational interviewing, anger management, and adventure therapy. Alternative therapies such as yoga and meditation are also offered. The facility has a high staff-to-patient ratio, ensuring that each patient receives the personalized care he deserves.
