More about Oxford House - Bermuda

A non-profit organization, residents are only expected to contribute to their fair share of the running of the house expenses, and since there are generally between 8-15 people per home, these monthly payments are low enough to be affordable to anyone who can work while in recovery. Residents must only abide by the rules of the home, but if they ever use drugs or alcohol while a resident, they are immediately evicted. Residents may stay as long as they need to, although most stay about 1 year.

Admissions Process

Oxford House is self-run, peer-supported recovery housing for women with children. There is no clinical staff on site and no walk-in admission — applicants are accepted by a vote of the current residents after an interview. Interviews are held Tue 6:30pm. Call the house on (531) 500-5756 to ask about openings and arrange an interview. The chapter contact for this house is Amy — (531) 427-3078. Please phone before visiting. Current vacancies are published by Oxford House at oxfordvacancies.com.

Don't bring yourself or loved ones here, the counselor (at least the one I had) pick and choose the favorites and unfairly treat the others. Check into Oxford home living, as it feels you're not caged…
