FIRST Recovery

FIRST Recovery is the Roanoke Valley substance use program of Crescent Counseling and Casework Services, which opened its Roanoke office in May 2018 after more than a decade serving Virginia Beach and the surrounding area. It provides an intensive outpatient program alongside individual and group counseling, substance use case management and peer recovery support, and the organization also runs intensive in-home services for adolescents and young people at high risk of placement outside the family home. It is CARF-accredited. Payment can be made through Medicaid, Medicare, or private or military insurance.
