American Alt Court Services (AACS)

AACS Counseling — American Alternative Court Services — runs an intensive outpatient program on Terrell Mill Road in Marietta, and most of what it does is built around people whose treatment is required rather than chosen. It conducts alcohol and drug evaluations, DUI evaluations and the Georgia DUI school Risk Reduction Program, anger management evaluations and classes, child custody fitness evaluations and a marijuana education class, and offers same-day appointments for assessments. It also provides Professional Health Program and HPSP evaluations for licensed professionals facing a licensing board, conducted virtually over HIPAA-compliant telehealth and accepted nationwide. Medicaid, Medicare, private and military insurance are accepted, and a sliding scale is available.
