Step Toward Success is a Cazenovia Recovery program providing peer-supported apartments in Buffalo for men, women, and parents with children in recovery from substance use disorders. Residents share apartments in twos and threes, and select apartments are available for parents to admit with one preschool-age child. Admissions begin by calling 716-240-9120.

Community Care Alliance is a non-profit human services agency serving Rhode Island from Woonsocket and Johnston, running more than 50 programs for people facing mental health and addiction problems, housing instability, trauma and unmet basic needs. Residential substance use treatment sits alongside mental health care, employment support and a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, and the agency also administers practical help such as LIHEAP energy assistance and has a dedicated veteran coordinator. Beacon Treatment Center is a men's extended-stay outpatient program in Vernon, Arizona, on a 26-acre rural campus bordering the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest with a 2.3-acre pond. Its six-month program combines a classroom curriculum with outdoor recreational therapy — camping, canoeing, fishing — alongside daily 12-step meetings and individual and family counseling. Beacon is deliberately not a medication-assisted treatment program: it says it takes a holistic approach and aims for sobriety without MAT, which is worth knowing before applying if you are on methadone or buprenorphine. It accepts most insurance, AHCCCS (Arizona's Medicaid program) and AIHS.
