NorthStar Regional treats substance use and mental health conditions in the same place and by the same team at its Walnut Street site in Chaska, Minnesota, with a high-intensity residential co-occurring program running up to six weeks and medically managed withdrawal at ASAM level 3.7, staffed around the clock. Step-downs include co-occurring intensive outpatient care with lodging — a live-in option at both Chaska and Otsego, offered separately for men and for women — IOP groups three to five sessions a week, outpatient therapy in person or by telehealth for adults, teens and children, and men's and women's sober housing for clients further along.
