Utah Counseling Services

The Price Clinic is part of Carbon Medical Service, which began in 1952 in a small clinic beside the Kaiser Permanente hospital in Dragerton and in 1992 became one of Utah's first Federally Qualified Health Centers. The clinic provides outpatient and intensive outpatient care including medication-assisted treatment that combines medication with counseling and behavioural therapy, and it operates a sliding fee scale so care is accessible regardless of income. Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, military insurance and state funding are accepted.

Four Corners Community Behavioral Health provides mental health and substance use treatment and prevention services to residents of Carbon, Emery and Grand counties, and its Castle Dale office on East 100 South Street offers outpatient and intensive outpatient care. Services span adult mental health, youth and family mental health, medication management and crisis services, including the SafeUT crisis line. Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, military insurance and state funding are accepted, and payment assistance is available.
