Treatments Offered

At Lakeview Behavioral Health we have a number of different programs, with varying levels, that are designed to meet adolescents and adults where they are in the recovery process. Each one of our programs includes individual therapy, group sessions, family therapy, as well as a number of experiential programs that allow for complete healing.

Adults Psychiatric Services

Our adult treatment program is specifically tailored to the personal needs of individuals 18 and older who are struggling with psychiatric problems, substance abuse issues, or co-occurring disorders. The goal of this program is to help each individual return to a life that is not only enjoyable, but also satisfying and fulfilling. The compassionate atmosphere allows for exploration of emotions and specific issues in a more in depth manner.

Adolescent Psychiatric Services

Our adolescent specific program is for individuals ages 9 to 17 who are struggling with emotional and behavioral challenges or substance abuse problems. This highly structured environment helps adolescents and their parents obtain prompt stabilization and the coping skills needed for long-term success.

Detox Services

For those individuals that arrive at Lakeview physically dependent on alcohol or another substance the first step will be detoxification. Through the 24-hour monitored medically managed detox all substances will be safely and effectively removed from your body. Only then will you be able to fully engage in the therapeutic process.

Partial Hospitalization Program

PHP is the first step-down program, provided to adults and adolescents, after an individual has been stabilized and discharged from the inpatient portion of treatment. Individuals in this program will meet Monday through Friday from 9am until 3:15pm. During this time patients will attend between 4 and 6 group sessions each day. Additionally, patients will be involved in a number of individual therapy sessions and family sessions that will focus specifically on each person's needs.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Lakeview's IOP, one for adolescents and one for adults, is the least restrictive program offered and is held Monday through Friday from 9am to 12pm or from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. This flexible schedule is designed to allow our patients to be able to return to school or work part time while still getting the treatment they need. The main goal of IOP is to help prepare individuals to return to the community. In this program patients will attend 2 to 3 groups a day. This program is dedicated to helping each person maintain the best possible mental health once they have left inpatient treatment, allowing them to continue to be successful with their recovery.

Rehab Activities

In addition to our traditional therapeutic treatments Lakeview is proud to offer a number of experiential programs to help you heal as a whole individual. Some of these programs include:

• Music therapy
• Nutrition and Wellness counseling
• Expressive therapy
• Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous

Family Involvement

Family involvement is very important to ensure a successful recovery and so they are included in every aspect of treatment from the intake process all the way to the discharge planning process.

We offer therapy sessions where the patient and their loved ones can take the time to process all of their emotions surrounding their disorder and have the chance to express how it has affected their lives. Additionally, we have visitation time with the patient and their family.
