Recovery Unplugged Austin offers medical detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient care for substance use disorders east of Austin, with a virtual intensive outpatient option. What sets the program apart is its use of music: Recovery Unplugged builds music into treatment as a way to establish trust, process trauma and keep clients engaged, alongside conventional therapy. Detox is medically staffed by doctors and nurses for acute withdrawal, and the program provides identity-affirming care for LGBTQ+ clients. Medicaid, Medicare, private and military insurance and self-pay are accepted.

Sage Recovery and Wellness Center's Westlake Center at 7004 Bee Caves Road in Austin houses its intensive outpatient program and outpatient therapy, using CBT, DBT, ACT and group work for substance use, mental health conditions and co-occurring diagnoses. The wider organization also runs The Recovery Villa, a 15-bed residential and partial hospitalisation setting on a 24-acre countryside estate with private-room options, and a separate adolescent care program, so clients can step down into the Westlake outpatient program after residential treatment. Private insurance, military insurance and self-payment are accepted.

New Hope Ranch is a residential addiction treatment center on Sparks Road in Manor, east of Austin, operated by Discovery Addiction Services, with medical detox and partial hospitalization on site. It treats adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions, and is certified by CARF. Managed Medicaid is accepted — New Hope Ranch is in-network with Optum Medicaid and works with Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicaid — alongside private insurance, TRICARE and VA coverage, and self-pay.
