Mesa Springs treats mental health and addiction in Fort Worth, beginning every admission with an assessment by a qualified mental health professional rather than a fixed intake track. Alongside its general programming it runs Help for Heroes, a named outpatient service built for military personnel, veterans and first responders — a population whose treatment needs and confidentiality concerns differ enough that a general program often does not fit.

Carrus Behavioral Health is the children's and adolescent arm of Carrus Health, which has operated in Texas and Oklahoma since 2008. Its partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs are for ages 8 to 17, and its inpatient hospital takes children and adolescents from age 5, so a family moving between levels of care stays inside one organization. The hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and licensed by Texas Health and Human Services.
