Amarillo Treatment Centers

Life Challenge of Amarillo is a faith-based residential recovery program on Hope Road in Amarillo, part of the Adult & Teen Challenge network. It provides long-term residential care for adults, young adults and seniors, and runs Revivify Coffee — a social enterprise that has been importing and roasting arabica beans since 2018 and now supplies stores across the area and a mobile coffee shop, giving residents work and training as part of recovery. The program operates on a self-pay basis, and HIV testing is available.

Oceans Behavioral Hospital in Amarillo provides partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient behavioral health care for adolescents, adults, older adults, service members and first responders, treating mental health conditions alongside co-occurring substance use. Oceans runs a dedicated STAR military program and a track for first responders built around service-related stress, trauma and professional identity, and offers a virtual outpatient program for people who cannot attend in person. Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, VA benefits, private insurance and self-pay are accepted.
