The Ranch's CARF-accredited program offers various experiential modalities toward identifying and treating underlying causes of clients' need to self-medicate. Our extended care residential program treats men and women age 18 and over for chemical dependency, trauma, PTSD, dual diagnosis, grief & loss, managed eating disorders, depression, anxiety, panic disorder, male/female dependency, dissociative disorder, and bi-polar disorder.
Our residential facilities are surrounded by the scenic beauty of farms and ranches in the beautiful rolling hills of Nunelly, Tennessee, about an hour outside of Nashville.
Residents live in comfortable homes on the property. There are separate homes for women and men, as well as a special house for our women's eating disorder program. Our small resident population of up to 18 women and 18 men ensures highly individualized care while providing the community necessary for personal growth and group support. It is our commitment to foster an atmosphere of respect, love and hope that encourages and models the joy of recovery.
The Ranch offers a three month program in 28-day (“month”) increments. Although some residents may stay for up to six months, the minimum stay is 28 days.

The Ranch's unique treatment program offers a spiritually focused, community -based environment that allows the time and space to address the specific core issues, which are the foundation of our need to self-medicate or participate in destructive, compulsive behaviors. Whether self-medication presents itself as a chemical dependency, an eating disorder or personality/mood disorder, our clinical staff will assist and guide the client to identify and address those underlying issues that have compelled you to find a way to escape the symptoms and feelings that cause distress. We offer a unique mindfulness program dedicated to training all clients in basic mindfulness skills. Regular mindfulness practice, which occurs in a group setting at The Ranch as well as individually by request, helps to accelerate healing from trauma and mental/emotional disorders, addictions, compulsions, and other experiences/behaviors that create suffering in our clients' lives. At The Ranch, we have programs that are designed to assist our guests in reestablishing a new relationship with life.
