Serenity View (formerly Sunspire Health) Texas is a treatment facility for men and women suffering with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders located in Princeton, TX. We take a whole-patient approach to treatment at Texas, integrating evidence-based interventions and abstinence-focused care with therapies that promote mind-body wellness in gender-separate programming. Every person who enters treatment at the facility is guaranteed patient-centered care that reflects his or her specific needs in recovery.

The facility also promotes spiritual well-being with a pastoral counselor on staff who serves as a non-denominational spiritual advisor for patients who want to incorporate faith into their recovery. Patients also have the opportunity to attend Sunday worship services and weekly Bible study.

Serenity View Texas is one of the only rehabilitation facilities in the Dallas metropolitan area that gives patients the choice of following the traditional 12-Step method, the scientifically-backed SMART Recovery, or faith-based Celebrate Recovery for their self-help support approach, depending on which method best suits them personally.

In addition to its residential/inpatient program, Serenity View Texas offers onsite medical detox (when necessary), and a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Each patient receives individualized treatment based on his or her specific needs for recovery. Patients have many different varieties of therapy available during treatment, including individual therapy, CBT, psycho-education, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and adventure therapy. The facility has a high staff-to-patient ratio, ensuring that each patient receives the personalized care he or she deserves.

Alternative therapies such as yoga, meditation, and art therapy are also offered. The facility features a swimming pool and a state-of-the-art fitness center with full basketball and volleyball courts, as well as two personal trainers on staff. Patients become stronger physically as they heal and leave treatment with an exercise and nutrition plan to keep them healthy throughout their recovery.

Serenity View Texas is located in Princeton, TX, on a sprawling, 46-acre Southwestern estate. The facility offers serene, charming accommodations for men and women seeking a life of sobriety. With 40 beds available and nursing staff on-site 24 hours a day, treatment at Sunspire Health Texas ensures individualized care for the best chance of successful recovery from addiction. Serenity View also has an outdoor pool on its grounds that is open for most of the year to give patients the availability to swim laps or just relax. The grounds of the facility have a built-in walking path as well as low ropes course challenges for patients to reconnect with nature as they connect with themselves. Patients may also choose to relax by fishing in our pond on facility grounds.

Once insurance or another payment method is verified, you or the loved one you're calling for will take a clinical screening to ensure we can properly care for the addiction. After the screening is complete and approved, arrival at one of our facilities is scheduled as soon as possible. Transportation can be arranged for patients to ensure that travel is not a burden.
