I went to Serenity House, which is now called the Lisa Merlin house, in 1995. They were wonderful to me & gave me a good grounding in recovery. I had gone to Charter Rehab, but needed more care & structure. Lisa Merlin was so good to me, even though I gave her trouble at times with being stubborn. I give God, Lisa Merlin,& the 12 step program credit for me still being clean & sober. I can’t say enough positive things about this recovery house. It was definitely a safe place to recover. Lisa & her house will always have a place in my heart.
