Gándara Residential Recovery Services for Women (GRSW) is a 30-person women’s recovery program and sober living home that focuses on behavior modification with positive reinforcement. Average length of stay is 6-12 months (9-12 months is best). Addiction is viewed as an effort to self-medicate. Staff work with participants to motivate and help them make positive behavioral changes and commit to learning skills which support a sober life.

Gándara Center provides residential, mental health, substance abuse and preventive services for children, adults and families across the Pioneer Valley and eastern parts of Massachusetts. Founded in the Hispanic community, we value cultural diversity and strive to provide culturally competent, innovative services to a diverse community.

The Mission of the Gándara Center is to promote the well-being of Hispanics, African-Americans and other culturally diverse populations, through innovative, culturally competent behavioral health, prevention and educational services.
